Problem: Existing training only consisted of one overview screening call and mentor-led on-site training resulting in a decrease in return volunteers. Feedback from volunteers indicated a feeling of lack of preparedness.
Solution: Orientation with an overview of responsibilities and mock shift to prepare volunteers and ensure they feel prepared and comfortable and will return consistently.
